So I went to the NYC Stationary Show and let me tell you ladies… BEAUTIFUL, AMAZING stuff to be seen. I wanted to share a few of my favorites with you.
First up… PIKME.
This super adorable line of stationary includes these AMAZING Party Piks. How perfect for your next Champagne & Cupcakes Shower!? These Party Piks come in lots of different designs including lobsters, flamingos and a dancing elephant with a martini ( My personal favorite). But the images are endless and there’s sure to be one that matches every wedding out there. The Party Piks are sold as a set of 13 and limited to one design per set. In addition, they have notepads, notecards, gift tags, stickers, place cards and photo cards. One theme to take you from Shower to Reception to Thank You’s. Perfect.
Another one of my favorite cupcake toppers were from Blue Ribbon. They do beautiful custom, fine letterpress cards and stationary for weddings. Whether it’s through these toppers, or through invitations, save the dates and thank you notes…Blue Ribbon brings a touch of refined elegance to your special day.
This seriously BEAUTIFUL wedding comes to us from the ever talented Randi Voss. This wedding is magical. I love when all of the elements come together. Beautiful bride, beautiful weather, beautiful wedding. Amazing. Katie and James got married May 9, 2009 in Annapolis, MD, where they live. The details of this wedding are just incredible and I had to share them with you!
Katie and James chose to get married at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Annapolis, MD. AND get this, their rental fee went toward saving the bay!
From the beautiful bride…
“The entire day was so much fun, more fun than I could have ever imagined!”
So this past weekend was kind of ridiculous. BOTH of my sisters graduated from college (their twins- different schools I might add) PLUS one of my oldest friends got married and I had to go to an engagement BBQ. Kind of crazy! The wedding was wonderful. It’s always pretty wonderful to watch someone you’ve known nearly your whole life walk down the aisle. Plus, she was a BEAUTIFUL bride. More to come…
Today’s Happy little Martha Wedding tip is adorable so I decided to share with ya’ll.
Yes I said ya’ll. Well Mason jars are southern right? People sing about them, and drink out of them. It’s pretty great. I love it.
So now you can use them to light the pathway to your reception venue, or place on your tables as easy-peasy centerpieces. I kind of love them. Plus… they’re super inexpensive. This version plays with the aqua and emerald color scheme which, yes is pretty darn great, but you can do this with anything. Use clear mason jars and adorn with pretty pink ribbon, or bright yellow polka dot ribbon or go effortlessly classic with simple white. Whatever works for your particularly fabulous soiree. You can buy mason jars in bulk from craft stores or online at Amazon. Or shop thrift stores and garage sales for unique glass blown mason jars in a variety of colors and shapes for a more casual vintage feel.
BEWARE: Jars can get very hot!
*Martha’s tip: Fill each jar with 1/8 inch of water before setting votives inside.
Hi ladies- Hope this week is flying by for you all! I have so many updates for you all! I attended the NYC Stationary Show on Monday and it was AMAZING, OVERWHELMING and completely fabulous. Some of my favorites were there… namely Linda & Harriet (Which was pretty wonderful). But I also have some really wonderful new stationers that I can’t wait to share with you! SO bear with me… there’s lots of invitation and gift porn coming your way!
This weekend = complete and total madness for me, so I will be away. I’ll be back on Tuesday and you should all step away from your computers and enjoy the sunshine for the weekend! I have double graduation duty, an engagement BBQ and a wedding. So I’ll have LOTS to share next week.

Just in time for wedding season Bloomingdales is showcasing bright colors and fun new styles perfect for summer receptions and soirees! I’m feeling fanciful, hopeful and completely aspirational today, so … I’m not saying these dresses are affordable necessarily, but beautiful… yes.
Hey… a girl can dream right?
How much do I LOVE Balloons? About as much as I did when I was 5-years-old. A whole freakin’ lot. I think that balloons, much like cheap flowers like daises, mums etc. appear more beautiful en masse. Here are a few images that make life a little bit sweeter, and your party pretty.
Isn’t that just the most beautiful thing? I Love it. Simple, Fun and perfect for the couple who doesn’t take themselves too seriously.
